EUROSAF are keen to work with Class Associations who are planning European Continental Championships and ask that they contact us at info@eurosaf.org for more information. This applies to all Class Associations who comply with the EUROSAF Regulations for Championships, or who think they may qualify, but are not registered with EUROSAF. This applies to both ISAF and non-ISAF Classes.

Holding a European Championship. For EUROSAF approved events medals are available for the crews placed first, second and third and a senior representative of EUROSAF will attend the event. The main attraction for class associations in holding a EUROSAF recognised Championship, is that their event will have increased credibility in the eye of the sailing world and competitors alike and thus attract better venues, more competitors and a higher standared of entry. It also permits Race Organisers to seek help through the EUROSAF Officials' Exchange Programme to appoint qualified international and national jury members and, if required, Race Officers and Measurers.

In addition, we would suggest that holding a European Championship recognised by EUROSAF, whose members are the National Sailing Authorites throughout Europe, will enhance the opportunity of attracting sponsorship for such events.
