EUROSAF Youth Sailing Championship 2011
In 2011 the Fédération Française de Voile will be hosting the first ever combined classes European Youth Championships. The dates and venue are yet to be announced, but the EUROSAF Events Committee are now well advanced with their planning and announcements will be made soon. It is intended that all classes approved for use at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships will be entitled to enter and invitations will go directly to the Member National Authorities, who are members of EUROSAF. This is expected to become an annual event and plans are already being drawn up for 2012.

Unlike the ISAF event, this wll not be supplied equipment, but the Championship will be professionally organised and officiated by International Race Officials. It will be a social event as well as the Youth Continental Championship for Europe.

In 2008 a number of youth activities took place in association with EUROSAF, including the Summer Camps organised by the French in Quiberon and the Euromed Championships orgasnised by the Malta Sailing Federation.
