NOTICE OF MEETING

1. European Sailing Federation (EUROSAF)

The official Notice of Meeting for the 11^th Ordinary General Assembly of the European Sailing Federation (EUROSAF) was issued in the EUROSAF Newsletter, published at the beginning of January. The meeting will be held on Saturday 29^th March, 2008, in Hungary, at the Ramada Hotel & Resort, Lake Balaton.

Member National Authorities, in good standing with EUROSAF, are invited to submit items for inclusion on the agenda of the meeting, or the EUROSAF Members? Forum being held on Sunday 30^th March. Items for inclusion on the agenda of the OGA should be submitted to the Secretary General no later than 31^st January 2008.

Details of the agenda and programme of events will be made available in late February and will be posted on the EUROSAF website www.eurosaf.org, as well as being sent by email to Member National Authorities.

Elections will be held during the Ordinary General Assembly, to appoint the President, plus two Vice-President?s.

The current President, George Wossala, is eligible for re-election and has indicated his willingness to stand. The retiring Vice-President?s are Helmut Jakobowitz (AUT) and Kamen Fillyov (BUL). Helmut Jakobowitz is not eligible for re-election for one year. Minute AGA/04/06 refers (Riva del Garda, March 2004). Kamen Fillyov is eligible for re-election and has indicated his willingness to stand.

Nominations are invited for these posts, which need to be received no later than midday GMT on 29^th February 2008. Nominees should be notified to the Secretary General by email before the deadline. All nominations must be accompanied by a formal letter of support from the nominees own Member National Authority.

Accommodation will be at the Ramada Hotel & Resort. Details to follow.

Guests and observers will be welcome.
