EUROSAF FORUM OF THE SAILING CITIES 2015

EUROSAF and the city of EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA- Spain are pleased and proud to announce the first ever Sailing Forum for European Sailing Cities, to be held in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, in February.

From 26th to 28th February 2015 the city of El Puerto de Santa María - Cádiz - Spain in association with the European Sailing Federation (EUROSAF), will be organizing the first Forum for European towns and cities who are involved with the organisation of regattas and sailing championships - the Sailing Cities - in order those venues can share common initiatives and develop further good practices of mutual benefit to all involved.

The Forum is intended for event organizers, such as National Authorities for sailing, championship management bodies, sailing clubs and alike, both professional and voluntary organisation, and for those responsible within the minicipalities and local authorities who work in partnership with the event organisers.

EUROSAF 2K Keelboat Team Racing Championship – Countdown

IBERDROLA EUROSAF Disabled European Championship - Final Day

The Frenchman Bruno Jourden has obtained the victory at the Eurosaf Disabled Sailing European Championship - Iberdrola International Trophy after a final day with two races, in which won he first race and was third in the second, confirming his status as World Champion of the 2.4 mR class in a championship where he has been far superior to other competitors. The 9-point lead over the second placed prove so, the silver has been awarded to his countryman Kevin Cantin, with 32 points. Bronze is for Italy, in the figure of its representative Antonio Squizzato with 35 points.

Jourden maintains its status as a leader of the Eurosaf Disabled Sailing European Championship - Iberdrola International Trophy

France maintains its supremacy in the Eurosaf Disabled Sailing European Championship -Iberdrola International Trophy, with Bruno Jourden in continental leadership, just three points off his colleague.

Second day at the Eurosaf Disabled Sailing European Championship - Iberdrola International Trophy, the wind and sea conditions were similar to yesterday, where they managed to complete three other races.

Change of leader  with a transfer of French power in the classification, where the Frenchman Bruno Jourden has relieved his countryman Kevin Cantin to the front of the continental event, promoted by the EUROSAF through the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and the collaboration of IFDS (International Disabled Sailing Federation) under the sponsorship and collaboration of Iberdrola, the Spanish Paralympic Committee, the Spanish Sports Council, the City Council and the Royal Nautic Club of Valencia.

IBERDROLA EUROSAF Disabled European Championship - Day 1

After the official presentation`s ceremony last Wednesday at the venue of Conference Room Petxina Deportivo Cultural Complex in Valencia, today began the competition organised by the EUROSAF and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation with the support of Iberdrola and the collaboration of the city of Valencia, the International Federation Disable Sailing, the Spanish Paralympic Committee, the Real Club Náutico de Valencia and the Spanish Ministery of Sports.
