Oleg Iliyng (RUS) and Panayiotis Kontides (CYP) cede their post to the polish Tomasz Chamera and the norwegian Stig Hvide - Smith for the next two years. The russian Oleg Iliyng after 8 years serving as Vice-President of EUROSAF was not eligible to repeat another two years period. By acclamation of the General Assembly Oleg was appointed President of Honour post that will join with George Wossala (HUN).

Registration for EUROSAF Youth Sailing, European Championship is now open

EUROSAF announce that the 29er Class will be open for all countries to compete.

With the launch of the EUROSAF Youth Sailing, European Championship website www.eurosafyouthsailing.org it is now possible for countries to register their teams to compete in the 2015 European Youth Championship taking place in Brest, France, under the burgee of the Société des Régates de Brest, from 27th July to 2nd August.

EUROSAF Youth Sailing, European Championship, 2015

EUROSAF publish the Notice of Race for the above event at the same time announcing a change of date for the Championship.

The Notice of Race (PDF) for the 2015 EUROSAF Youth Sailing, European Championship, is published today, at the same time as a new date for the event is announced.  The Championship, which is being held in Brest, France, organised by the FFVoile, in association with Société des Régates de Brest, will now commence on Monday 27th July and conclude Sunday 2nd August.  The first day of racing is Wednesday 29th July.  The change of date has been made in order to accommodate other youth championships that have been scheduled to take place during the same period as that originally intended for the EUROSAF Youth Championship.

In accordance with the same Article, notice is hereby given that the 12th Special General Assembly may be held at the same time and place, to consider any business appropriate to a Special General Assembly.

EUROSAF FORUM OF THE SAILING CITIES 2015

EUROSAF and the city of EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA- Spain are pleased and proud to announce the first ever Sailing Forum for European Sailing Cities, to be held in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, in February.

From 26th to 28th February 2015 the city of El Puerto de Santa María - Cádiz - Spain in association with the European Sailing Federation (EUROSAF), will be organizing the first Forum for European towns and cities who are involved with the organisation of regattas and sailing championships - the Sailing Cities - in order those venues can share common initiatives and develop further good practices of mutual benefit to all involved.

The Forum is intended for event organizers, such as National Authorities for sailing, championship management bodies, sailing clubs and alike, both professional and voluntary organisation, and for those responsible within the minicipalities and local authorities who work in partnership with the event organisers.

EUROSAF 2K Keelboat Team Racing Championship – Countdown

Hamburg Sailing Club, 14th to 16th November

In a few days from now the EUROSAF Championship 2K Team Racing will be held at the Hamburg Sailing Club in Germany where there is a record entry. With eight teams from across Europe, including new entries from Austria, Germany and Ireland as well as new sailors from Hungary, Greece and Finland, the scene is set for some fantastic competition and some awesome parties.
