EUROSAF are keen to work with Class Associations who are planning European Championships and ask that they contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to discuss how a EUROSAF recognised championship will be beneficial to all involved. This applies to all Class Associations, both ISAF and non-ISAF Classes.

The potential benefits to class associations of holding a EUROSAF recognised championship, is that their event will have increased credibility in the eye of the sailing world, the media and competitors, and will, therefore, attract better venues, larger entries and greater media interest. This, in turn, leads to a higher standard of competition within the class that will encourage more sailors to join and compete. It is a win win situation.  A EUROSAF recognised championship also permits Race Organisers to seek help through the EUROSAF Officials' Exchange Programme, with the financial advantages that brings, to appoint qualified and experienced international and national jury members and, if required, Race Officers and Measurers. In addition, we would suggest that holding a EUROSAF recognised Championship will enhance the opportunity of attracting sponsorship for such events.

EUROSAF is the Continental association for sailing within Europe, representing all the national governing authorities for sailing and recognised by ISAF.
